On her sites, you can view makeup tutorials and videos by Danica as well as hire her for personal makeup services in your very home. Danica is sweet, down to earth, and inspirational. But what is obvious is her beauty inside and out.
Here’s an interview with Danica about makeup, childhood memories, and what she thinks is real beauty.
1. Do you have a fond or strange memory involving makeup during childhood or teenage years? Do you think it’s shaped how you use or view makeup now?
I was a tom boy growing up, so I really didn’t play around with makeup much until my teen years. In High School I used to bring girls home with me after school to give them makeovers, those poor girls! I would cut and dye their hair, give them a makeup routine and donate any clothes that I didn’t want anymore to give them a little umph! I look back at those memories and think about how much fun we had, and how most of those girls seemed to really blossom after all of that attention and confidence.

2. Name 1 – 3 favorite makeup/beauty products you can’t live without.
I really can’t live without my MAC Moisturecover Concealer which hides my dark under eye circles, Shiseido Benefiance Eye Cream which is great for the dry Colorado weather that I live in, and my daily dosage of fish oil which helps my hair, skin, nails and more! I really do swear by fish oil and recommend it to everyone, all of my clients take fish oil, I love it!
3. Do you have a bedtime beauty routine? Favorite nighttime ritual
Every night I take a nice long shower and then drink chamomile tea to calm down. Sometimes If I take a bath I place my chamomile tea bags on my eyes to de-puff! I really love to put on my Shiseido Night Cream and Eye Cream after my shower and then really clear my head for the night:) I believe in not letting stress get the best of me and trying to enjoy life and all of it’s craziness!
4. They say true beauty lies underneath. Name what characteristic about you or others that you think is beautiful. Something makeup can’t do.
I am a very compassionate person who loves people and animals! I have been a vegetarian for most of my life and believe strongly in being a person of feeling and truth no matter what the consequences. I believe strongly in personal development and my religion which keeps me growing constantly as a person. In all of my upcoming ebooks on how to become a Makeup Artist, I give more than just makeup tips. I talk a lot about how to grow as a person and how important it is to help others.
