Anna Sabino is the owner of and jewelry designer of LUCID New York, beautiful chic jewelry. Her jewelry has been featured in magazines like Vogue, Cosmopolitan, and Marie Claire. Anna is a talented designer and fashionista one is definitely one of the most influential, emerging women on the net. But what is obvious is her beauty inside and out.
Here’s an interview with Anna about makeup, childhood memories, and what she thinks is real beauty.
1. Do you have a fond or strange memory involving makeup during childhood or teenage years? Do you think it’s shaped how you use or view makeup now?
When I was little I thought that only pink shades of makeup looked great. Couldn’t understand my mom putting on shades of brown. Now I have to say I’m a bit more color adventureous.

2. Name 1 – 3 favorite makeup/beauty products you can’t live without.
Kiehl’s lip balm, especially in the winter in NYC, La Mer Creme (does magic for any skin type), Mac powder, Dry shampoo (amazing when on the go and it’s not your best hair day)
3. Do you have a bedtime beauty routine? Favorite nighttime ritual?
My nightime routine consists of playing with La Mer and Shiseido products
4. They say true beauty lies underneath. Name what characteristic about you or others that you think is beautiful. Something makeup can’t do.
Evening yoga class followed by a good night sleep and a morning smile can do magic that no makeup can do. Exuding confidence is more attractive than the sexiest makeup.
